Users of Cambridge Open Engage (the Site) posting and reading discussion posts and comments on any page on this Site should act in accordance with this Commenting and Discussion Policy. Use of the Site by any visitor is also subject to all of the policies within this Site. If you have any questions about Cambridge Open Engage policies and procedures that are not addressed in these policies, or in the FAQs or Submission Guide, you can contact cambridgeopenengage@cambridge.org.

• We do not moderate comments before they are posted, but reserve the right to remove comments that contravene this policy.
• The commenter's full name will be posted alongside their comment or discussion post unless they check the box to say they do not want their name to be displayed. However, comments and discussion posts will always be associated with a user account for the visibility of Site moderators.
• If any user of the site suspects that a comment or discussion post is in contravention of our policies, they will have the facility to 'Report' the comment and provide a reason for reporting it. The Site moderators will take appropriate action after assessing the report. A comment or discussion post may be removed by the site moderators if it appears to, for example:
  • Present a promotional message or advertisement
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of any person(s) or entity(ies)
  • Contain libellous or otherwise unlawful statements
  • Contain inappropriate, confidential, or harmful statements or materials
  • Have no relevance to the content or topic on the page where the comment or discussion is posted
  • Be in a language other than English
  • Contain inappropriate comments of a personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, gender, or religious character
  • Represent any other inappropriate use of the commentary and discussion features
• Users that repeatedly violate our Commenting and Discussion Policy may be blocked from further commenting and posting of any content on the Site, and in serious cases we may take appropriate further action based on the nature of the violation.
