Abstract

After four fruitful annual Global Community Bio Summits (three in-person and one virtual), we, the organizing committee of the Global Community Bio Summit, have decided to release a record of proceedings, which formally gives a compilation of some of the many wonderful and insightful sessions that have taken place this year. Herein, you will find myriad abstracts that cover not only workshops, but sessions spanning efforts surrounding COVID-19, Regional Developments, The Power of Community, Plenaries, Learning & Education, Open Innovation, Diversity & Inclusion, Ecological Guardianship, BioArt & Design, the Bio Creation Station (gallery), Communication, Global Collaborations, and Governance. These are not just recordings of sessions. They also serve as centers from which to branch out and expand, as none of the works listed are an end unto themselves and we all stand on the shoulders of others. We believe that the contributions of each space and individual benefits us all and that forging such partnerships builds better bridges to a more secure, enjoyable, and equitable future.
