Abstract
Solvit’s main task is to provide and maintain stable signal coverage along railway tracks, ensuring quality communications. To do this, the company should design a suitable antenna network in order to guaran- tee good signal coverage while reducing the costs associated with the entire network. In this report we formulate the problem as 0/1 linear optimization models, and report computational results obtained using the models on real data provided by the company.
