Abstract

This study intends to investigate the role of International Environmental Law, and Science as part of the Anthropocene Era vis-à-vis the existence of the natural boundaries of the planet. It is to say that despite the existential threat we are experiencing in the world, emancipation and regulation as pillars of modernity´s project are not responding well to the posed challenges. As such, metanarratives of International Environmental Law and Science are embedded with excluding features.
