Abstract
In a presentation at the University of Utrecht in June 2020, the author presents an auto-ethnographic study showing how 'Zivilcourage' (German - citizen's courage) develops as required - at least to some extent despite the subject and, in this case, against the background of her own philosophical research of and enquiry into insights and mission statement preceding some of the critical narrated events. All statements referring to a legal process are confirmed in lieu of oath.
