Abstract

Based on autoethnographic research, presented after peer-review (Prof Mark Morelli, one of the world experts on this philosopher's work, at the Bernard Lonergan Symposium at Loyola Marymount University in 2003. The author explores expansion or deepening of consciousness through crisis - its understanding aided by the conceptualisation through existential psychiatrists Jacob Levy Moreno and his student Grete Leutz.
