Abstract
Baroness Stedman-Scott, the Parliamentary Under-secretary of State for Work and Pensions and the Minister with responsibility for the Reducing Parental Conflict programme introduced the presentations by her officials. She spoke about her strong support for the programme because of her commitment to improving outcomes for children, especially vulnerable and disadvantaged children. She referenced Prof Gordon Harold’s research which underpins the programme, acknowledged that parental conflict is a public health issue and set out her overarching vision for the programme.
