Abstract
This study investigates the framing of the incidents of international and national importance in the print media of Pakistan. For the purpose, the two newspapers, two events and two time periods before and after the incidents have been considered. Palwama attack was analyzed for a period of month and a half commencing on Feb 15 and ending on March 30, 2019 while US withdrawal was analyzed for a period of two months commencing on 16 July and ending on Sep 16 2021. 482 articles, 192 on Palwama and 290 on US withdrawal (Dawn 260, Tribune 222) has been examined for the content analysis where the content has been analyzed on the SPSS for drawing the conclusion. Based on which it is concluded that the Dawn and Tribune had publish the comprehensive coverage on these events by covering the national, international, political, economic and social framing on the respective content.
