Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic substantially remodeled the lives of a mass of the people worldwide. This presentation, reflecting the underway situations and mirroring the foregoing notions, will firstly investigate the difficulties in academia connected with pandemic-related changes and provide a literature review on how school counselling are adapting to meet students needs in education system under COVID-19. Next, considering that school counsellors are nowadays looked upon as versatile roles in educational domain from social and emotional educator, academic adviser to conflict mediator and family liaison, an exploration of school counsellors responsibilities will be presented to locate their functions particularly during the advent of the pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus. Finally, a prospect and probabilities of future school counselling in the course of disconcerting times will be presented to acquire a better understanding and interpretation of the social and emotional impact of this pneumonia outbreak.
