Abstract
Our paper intends to use the effect caused by quantum vacuum to explain the missing mass problem and the cosmological constant problem. We were inspired by the entropic gravity idea and also noticed the attraction between two cold objects in thermodynamics phenomena. So we made a conjecture for the origin of gravity. Then gravitational and inertial forces can be naturally derived from this conjecture, according to this conjecture, the acceleration will change depending on the distribution of mass and energy in the universe, to solve the problem of the source of extra gravity. Moreover, our paper can explain the changes in rotation curves in the galaxy's outer parts under different external gravitational fields' strengths. At the end of the paper, we show a physical picture to solve the cosmological constant problem and attribute the dark energy as also the effect of vacuum. Here we show the possibility of quantum vacuum as a candidate for dark matter and dark energy.
