Abstract

The purpose of this work is to establish the connection between SES and KC disease prevalence in Bangladeshi adults between 45 to 64 years old. Carrying out exploratory analysis with the help of qualitative data and performing quantitative analysis of the data derived from the Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey, the authors identified certain elevated rates of hypertension, diabetes and obesity associated with low SEP. Therefore, the thereof provide evidence for the importance of a wear response to minimize the health disparities that marginalized groups often experience. The study also adding to the pool of literature and the evidence base of decision-making regarding kidney diseases in Bangladesh.
