Abstract
This meta-analysis examines the impact of artificial intelligence across education and industry, focusing on ethical implications and future directions. A systematic review of relevant literature quantitatively and qualitatively assesses AI's influence on student performance and broader educational practices. Findings reveal AI's transformative potential, yet highlight significant ethical considerations, including algorithmic bias and data privacy. The analysis underscores the need for robust ethical frameworks and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure responsible AI development and implementation. Future research should prioritise inclusive AI tools and investigate long-term societal impacts. This necessitates equipping educators with the skills to navigate AI-enhanced environments and fostering open dialogue about the social and emotional implications of AI in education, preparing learners for the evolving technological landscape.
