Abstract
Infections caused by antibiotic-resistant bacteria pose an escalating global health risk. We highlight a research domain dedicated to the development and implementation of an innovative protocell fabrication technique: the bacteriogenic methodology. A protocell model of this fascinating bacteriogenic technique with antibacterial capabilities is presented to address this worldwide health threat.
